Adam Block insists that both the Press Lounge and PRINT. Restaurant be focused on sustainable, seasonally sourced ingredients. To facilitate this directive, he employs a full-time forager to purchase from local farms and regional suppliers. Block feels that offering seasonal items on Print Restaurant’s menu remains consistent with the requirements of being sustainable while adding a certain anticipation from guests as the ingredients change during each season. Many of the Press Lounge cocktails are inspired as well by the availability of seasonal ingredients.

In 2010, Adam Block was honored by New York Magazine when the periodical named the Press Lounge the city’s “Best New Rooftop Bar.” In the same year, ABCNews.com recognized the Press Lounge as one of the top 22 Rooftop Bars in the World. Open to the public seven days a week, the Press Lounge serves popular cocktails and hosts private events, which Block cites as popular choices for large business functions.

In addition, Adam Block is the founder of Block & Associates, LLC, a full-service consulting firm specializing in the food and beverage industry since 1987.
